Mental Health First Aid Youth Awareness

This course enables individuals to understand Mental Health in young people, giving the introductory knowledge of MHFA to be able to advocate mental health awareness.

By the end of this course, the learner will understand:

• What mental health is and how to overcome the stigma around it
• Basic information on some of the most common mental health issues including depression, anxiety and eating disorders
• The ability to work with young people who are suffering with poor mental health effectively
• How to relate to young people and support with their mental health issues 

After completing this course, along with a certificate to declare you Youth Mental Health Aware, individuals will also receive a Youth MHFA manual, giving them access to the key information they have learnt whenever they may need it.

Course duration: Half day

All course prices are for groups of up to 16 delegates and include course material and digital certificates valid for three years.
