Level 2 Mental Health
This course enables individuals who work within health and social care to understand mental health. The course is mapped to unit Y/615/7157 and K/616/6543 of the Level 2 Diploma in Care (RQF) and unit 9 of the Adult Social Care Certificate.

By the end of this course, the learner will understand:
- The types of mental ill health
- The impact of mental ill health on individuals and others in their social network
- The legal context of mental health
- The social context of mental ill health
- Supporting individuals' mental well-being and mental health
- The importance of early identification of mental health conditions
- The reasonable adjustments which may be necessary in health and care delivery for an individual living with a mental health condition
Typical duration: 3 hours
*Courses can be delivered as a standalone session, or 2 in 1 day for a reduced day rate. Standalone session rate £350/course. Reduced day rate for 2 courses in 1 day £300/course.
All course prices are for groups of up to 12 delegates and include course material and digital certificates valid for three years.
