Level 2 Learning Disability and Autism
This course enables individuals who work within an early years setting to understand learning disabilities and autism.

By the end of this course, the learner will understand: Children and Families Act 2014, Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Code of Practice (2015), Equality Act 2010, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework (2021), The Autism Act 2009 and Autism Strategy (2021 Update), Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, National Occupational Standards (NOS) and NICE Guidelines (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence).

- Reasonable adjustments which may be necessary in health and care delivery

- Supporting an individual with autism through transitions and change
- Supporting individuals with autism to promote their safety, well-being and fulfilment
