Level 2 Equality and Diversity

This course enables individuals who work within an early years setting to understand equality and diversity. 

The course is mapped to the Equality Act 2010, Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework (2021), Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Code of Practice 2015, Ofsted Early Years Inspection Framework, National Occupational Standards (NOS) in Childcare, Skills for Care and Development (SfC&D) Core Skills Training Framework and the British Values in Early Years Settings.

By the end of this course, the learner will understand:

• The importance of equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights
• Working in an inclusive way
• How to access information, advice and support about equality, diversity, inclusion and human rights
