The course enables trainees to become competent to drive MEWPs safely and in the correct manner. An IPAF PAL card is recognised by HSE, CITB, HAE and the Major Contractors Group (MCG). It also satisfies the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and the PUWER regulations 1998.

Delivered as a full day classroom course, theory is covered in the morning as an instructor-led classroom session and practical in the afternoon, where practical assessment on the MEWPs take place. Delegates must pass the theory test, in order to progress to the practical element.
